This October, Reno families can check out the Reno Mural Expo, a three day experience where twenty different artists will work to produce new murals for the city. The event is a celebration of the large, impressive murals that can be found throughout Reno. You can witness a group of national and international artists come together to work on roughly twenty thousand feet of wall space, in order to add dynamic new images to the area. Check Out The Great Reno Balloon Race Sept 8-10

From Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10, the residents of Reno can look to the sky and see the wondrous assortment of hot air balloons. The Great Reno Balloon Race is a free three day event that invites local Reno families and tourists to take part in a friendly and fun series of events. You can come out to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park and take part in a number of activities connected to the races on the mornings of each day. On Saturday, July 29, you can throw on your running shoes, your favorite cape, and your mask, and take part in the Arch Rivals Superhero Run! This event, a 3.1 mile run along the Truckee River, is no ordinary race. Participants are encouraged to show up ready to compete while dressed in tribute to their favorite costumed hero…or villain. This fun, invigorating race is a celebration of creativity and fitness, encouraging Reno residents to get some exercise, and have some fun!
