They each have their own unique flavor, music, food, activities, and performances. If you enjoy festivals check out the festival events in Reno, there are several presently in progress in and around the area.

 What: Jazz and Beyond: Carson City Music Festival

Where: Multiple venues throughout Carson City

Brought to you by the Mile High Jazz Band Association, Jazz & Beyond – Carson City Music Festival offers over 60 performances and over 100 performers. Admission is free for most performances which include a variety of musical genres including blues, Latin, bluegrass, and more. There will be a special Sunday afternoon concert on the grounds of the Legislature, August 23rd. Other free events include concerts at:

  • Carson Mall
  • Comma Courtyard
  • The Brewery Arts Center
  • Other downtown Carson City venues

Times: Friday 5pm-10pm; Saturday12:00pm-10:00pm; Sunday 11am-3pm

Admission: Limited advance tickets are $12 (includes $10 of food); Regular admission will be $5 at the door (does not include food).
