Meet Your Reno Dentists
Posted April 24, 2012 by Wager-Evans Dental
At Wager Evans Dental, we’re proud to offer comprehensive dental care—cosmetic, restorative, preventive, general, and children’s dentistry—to patients of all ages. Reno dentists Dr. William Wager and Dr. Brian Evans lead the Wager Evans Dental team and, to help you feel more comfortable while in the dental chair, they want to introduce themselves.
Meet Dr. William Wager
Falling in love with the Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Virginia City area as a child, Dr. Wager knew he would return to this spot as an adult.
Dr. Wager attended Pacific Union College and then Loma Linda University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1975. There, he met his wife Patrea, who moved to Reno with him the following year.
With a special focus and expertise in dental implants, Dr. Wager has taught implant courses in the U.S., Australia, South Korea, and throughout Europe, and is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as the past president of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Ever-committed to providing his patients with top-notch dental care, Dr. Wager remains on the cutting edge of what’s new in dental technology and patient care by earning countless hours of continued education credit each year.
Meet Dr. Brian Evans
California native Dr. Brian Evans attended Pacific Union College and graduated with a degree in accounting. He then earned his CPA license and worked in the Sacramento area for six years. Dr. Evans then decided that finance wasn’t his true calling and attended Loma Linda University, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009.
Dr. Evans’ dedication to school and leadership—he was actively involved in school administration as a class officer and student representative, and was named Student of the Year in his final year of dental school—translated to his professional life, and he is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health.
In his free time, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his wife April and their two young children, skiing, biking, and being outdoors.
