Best In The West Nugget Rib Cook-Off August 31-September 5

Located in Sparks, NV (just ten minutes outside of Reno), the Best In The West Nugget Rib Cook-Off offers several days of exciting, delicious fun. Some of the best rib-cookers around will assemble to show off what they can do, with more than 20 competitors striving to win the top prize. There will also be a rib-eating competition, activities for kids, and live music for you to enjoy during the five-day event. The West Nugget Rib Cook-Off is FREE to attend, and offers families a chance to enjoy some of the best food, and the most fun, around.

When:

The event runs from Wednesday, August 31 through Monday, September 5. The hours from Wednesday through Sunday are 11 am to 9 pm. The hours on Monday are 11 am until 5 pm.

Where:

The West Nugget Rib Cook-Off is being held at Sparks Victorian Square, in Sparks, NV 89431.

Cost:

There is no cost of admission for the event.

Activities Include:

In addition to a cook-off and rib-eating contest, there will be live music on the main entertainment stage, an activity area for kids, and an array of special food and drink options.
