Check Out Reno’s Veteran’s Day Parade Nov. 11!

On Saturday, November 11, the city of Reno will commemorate Veteran’s Day with a special parade. The parade will pass through the heart of Reno’s downtown district, and will welcome all local families who wish to honor our military. The day will be kicked off by an opening ceremony, which will lead directly to the start of the parade. There will be VIPs and announcers on hand to provide commentary on the parade as it passes through downtown. Whether you served in the military, or just want to pay tribute to those who have, Reno’s Veteran’s Day parade offers all Reno residents a chance to honor the spirit of the holiday.
When:
Veteran’s Day is Saturday, November 11. The Veteran’s Day parade event will start with an opening ceremony at 11 am, with the parade beginning immediately after. The parade is expected to conclude between 1 and 2 pm.
Where:
The parade is set to run through downtown Reno. The opening ceremony will take place at the Virginia Street Bridge. The parade will run north on Virginia Street Bridge, running from 1st Street to 5th Street.
Cost:
Families will be able to watch the parade for FREE.
