Check Out The Great Reno Balloon Race Sept 8-10

From Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10, the residents of Reno can look to the sky and see the wondrous assortment of hot air balloons. The Great Reno Balloon Race is a free three day event that invites local Reno families and tourists to take part in a friendly and fun series of events. You can come out to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park and take part in a number of activities connected to the races on the mornings of each day. In addition to the races, there will be fun on-site competitions, and shopping set up along Balloon Boulevard.

When:

The Great Reno Balloon Race is a three day event, running from Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10. Activities tend to start early, and the gates to Rancho San Rafael Park will be open at 3:30 am each day.

Where:

You can see hot air balloons floating along the Reno skyline throughout the duration of the event! The launch site for the event will be Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, located at 1595 N Sierra St, Reno, NV.
