On Saturday, August 18, you and your family can head out to Sparks Marina to check out the Northern Nevada Dragon Boat Festival! This particular event is in its second year, but this sport can claim roots that extend back more than 2,500 years! You can spend a day at the Sparks Marina checking out racers compete on the water in 40 foot boats adorned with dragon heads and tails, while also checking out vendors, exhibitors, and a Health and Wellness village!
