This all-ages gathering is a celebration of diverse Polynesian and Asian cultures. The event, hosted by the Pacifica Community Organization, seeks to help people of different Pacific Island cultures to connect. It will also offer information about these cultures for those interested in learning more about their art and culture. There will also be live performances during the fest, cultural activities for kids, and vendors selling a variety of different foods, and merchandise. The goal of the event is to help foster a sense of community and connection, while also helping others learn about different cultures.

When:

The event will run Saturday, August 20, from 10 am until 8 pm, and Sunday, August 21, from 10 am until 5 pm.

Where:

The Pacifica Festival is being held at the Sands Regency Casino Hotel, located at 345 N. Arlington Avenue, Reno, NV 89501.

Cost:

The festival is free to attend. However, there will be vendors at the event selling food and merchandise.

Activities Include:

The event is intended as an opportunity to connect with, and learn about, different Asian and Polynesian cultures. There will be activities for kids, food, merchandise, arts and crafts, and live music from several different performing artists.
