Comfort And Ease

Your concerns matter. Questions require answers in our office, and if talking about a specific procedure or treatment helps ease your mind, please talk. Our compassionate team empathizes with the struggle you may face while visiting the dentist. It’s why we strive to make you as comfortable as possible.

Sedation Dentistry

Hesitating to confront a dental issue as soon as possible could lead to worsening effects. Tooth decay and gum disease both exist as progressive infections in the mouth. If untreated, severe consequences could occur. It remains highly recommended to address dental issues at the earliest opportunity available.

If a dental visit or procedure causes you nervousness, we offer sedation dentistry. Nitrous oxide assists in inducing a deep relaxation in the patient, allowing the opportunity to receive the dental treatment you may need.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is administered through a small, comfortable mask placed over your nose and mouth. The effects consist of causing a deep relaxed state, but you do not become unconscious. You will retain the ability to respond to the doctor’s requests and remain completely relaxed during a procedure. Many patients relate nitrous oxide sedation to the moment just prior to falling asleep.

The effects of nitrous oxide wear off quickly after discontinuing use, which means most patients are able to function on their own post procedure and drive home.
