Enjoy A FREE Series On Gardening In Reno!

Sometimes, the right garden is what it takes to make a house truly feel like home. Every region can present its own challenges when it comes to sustaining a crop of plants, and Reno is certainly no exception to this. Gardening In Nevada: The Bartley Ranch Series offers residents guidance on a number of different gardening topics, with a focus on addressing the needs of plants in our area. Every Tuesday in March, a different topic will be explored, to cover a range of interests. These FREE classes are supported in part by Washoe County Regional Parks And Open Space.

When:

Each Tuesday in March, a different class will be offered. The classes are scheduled to run from 6 pm until 8 pm each evening.

Where:

Classes are scheduled at the Bartley Regional Ranch, which is located at 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, Reno, NV.

Cost:

These classes are FREE to attend! Anyone ready to revitalize their garden can come in to learn!

Activities Include:

Each week, a different lesson will be provided, with each covering a different gardening topic. Each series is concentrated on growing food-supplying plants.

March 6: Selecting And Caring For Fruit Trees

March 13: Choosing The Right Tomato For You

March 20: Gourmet Gardening

March 27: Successful Vegetable Gardening
