Hands ON! Second Saturdays At The Nevada Museum Of Art

What can you look forward to during a Hands ON! Second Saturday event? This monthly program encourages families in and around Reno to experience the Nevada Museum Of Art, and offers a variety of fun activities. There will be hands-on art projects, docent-led tours, and special themes based around individual events. This month, families will be able to take part in activities based around Dia De Los Muertos, the Day Of The Dead. In addition to celebrating the art and culture of this holiday, you can take part in several tours and programs dedicated to helping encourage a love of the arts.

When:

The next Hands ON! Second Saturday event will be held on October 14. The event will run from 10 am until 6 pm.

Where:

The Nevada Museum Of Art is located at 160 West Liberty Street, Reno, NV.

Cost:

There are no admission costs during Hands ON! Second Saturdays, so you and your family can check out the museum for FREE!

Activities Include:

This month, the museum’s theme is Dia De Los Muertos, so you can check out a number of talks and activities based on this holiday. There will also be guided tours for younger patients, and tours for adults.
