Reno’s Winter Fest is currently taking place at at Greater Nevada Field, and families can enjoy a variety of different seasonal activities. You can enjoy a magical train ride, explore the sights of Santa’s Village, and glide across the ice at the ice rink! The Winter Fest activities will be taking place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until December 31. The Reno Chamber Orchestra’s 2017-2018 season is officially underway! Sachs, who performs as a trumpeter with the Cleveland Orchestra, will act both as a guest conductor and a soloist during the concerts, which will feature a number of classic pieces. On Saturday, November 11, the city of Reno will commemorate Veteran’s Day with a special parade. The parade will pass through the heart of Reno’s downtown district, and will welcome all local families who wish to honor our military. The day will be kicked off by an opening ceremony, which will lead directly to the start of the parade. There will be VIPs and announcers on hand to provide commentary on the parade as it passes through downtown.
