It’s time to get out and stretch your legs, use your muscles, and enjoy some fresh air, water, and sun. If you’re looking for something to do to beat away the left over winter blues and dreary spring rain, come on out and enjoy an amazing time at an amazing event: the Reno River Festival.

The 12th Annual Reno River Festival is roaring to begin at Whitewater Park at Wingfield in Reno this weekend. The best kayakers from around the world will embark upon a whitewater adventure right in the heart of downtown Reno that includes freestyle, boatercross, stand-up paddle board, and Slalom. Featuring two days of fun on land and water, there will be music, food, beverages, and lots of fresh air and sunshine.

Music Festival

The music festival is free, runs for two days and features nine performers including the headliner Old Dominion Saturday evening. Other acts include Street Urchinz, Island of Black & White, Maxx Cabello Jr., Clare Dunn, Wiz Kid, and more. There is so much going on at this festival it will make your head spin (or float). Other events include:

  • Dozens of food vendors
  • Yoga in the park
  • A kids play area
  • Fly fishing clinic
  • Craft beer village

Rent a Private Cabana

The private cabana experience accommodates 25 people and includes a catered lunch, snacks, beer, wine, soda, water, games, an optimal view of the race, and your own server.
