Starting Friday, May 19, you can take advantage of a special weekly event, Reno Street Food. At each Reno Street Food, a collection of food trucks offering a variety of different dining experiences will be on hand at Idlewild Park. The Reno Sculpture Fest Runs May 12-14

Starting on Friday, May 12, and ending Sunday, May 14, downtown Reno will be your source for impressive sculpture art. The Reno Sculpture Fest puts a variety of engaging, unique sculpture works up for display in the heart of Reno, at ReTrac Plaza, for residents to enjoy. Hosted at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center, this event is open to the public for FREE! Check Out Toytopia At The Wilbur D. Day Museum

From now until Sunday, April 16, the Wilbur D. Day Museum will offer the young (and young in spirit) an opportunity to see an array of unique, hard to find, and antique toys. The Toytopia exhibit has more than 100 years of history on display through a range of toys spanning different eras. Of course, something like a toy exhibit practically demands some interaction – several engaging, hands-on exhibits will be available. You can check out the LEGO building wall, a retro arcade, a life-size doll house, and many more interactive features. Check Out The AFAN Youth Art Month Exhibit

From now until Friday, April 28, you can attend the AFAN Youth Art Month exhibit. The exhibit, being held at Lake Mansion, is meant to contribute to the nationwide celebration of Youth Art Month. The Lake Mansion collection has been cultivated through workshops cultivated by Arts For all Nevada. The group traveled to different schools in the area, helping special needs students create expressive work. The exhibition is being kept open at no charge, Monday through Friday, so that you can explore the work generated through the efforts of Arts For All Nevada. Check Out The Reno Ukulele Festival April 6-9

The ninth annual Reno Ukulele Festival is happening soon at the Nugget Casino Resort. This year’s event will run from Thursday, April 6 through Sunday, April 9. During these three days, you can see performances from some of the top ukulele players in their field, take part in workshops, and join in on a number of engaging activities. This fun, friendly race takes runners throughout the Wells Avenue district and Midtown Reno, starting at the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum. Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to join the fifth annual running of this event, which adds a bit of fitness to your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
